The Marlow family immigrated to America in 1855 from Germany.
The earliest I seen records of the Marlows is a census from 1860. Napoleon Ohio.
1880 Census Napoleon Ohio
1) Christopher Marlow Age 54 Works as watchman on the RR. Came from Schwerin, Germany
2) Hannah (Zahrend) Marlow Age 54 housewife came from Schwerin, Germany
3) Elizabeth Age 18 (born in OH)
Note: older brother Jacob age about 21 has already moved out of the house.
* The 1900 Census says that Jacob was born in New York.
Last Will for Hannah Marlow 1893
Hannah dies this year. (1893)
Christopher Marlow's will dated 1893. In it he mentioned his daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Marlow) Schroeder

Notice Christopher is widowed and living with his son's family- Christopher's wife Hannah died 1894.

This certificate names her father Christopher Marlow and mother Hannah with maiden name Zahrend.
