We eat here around the 6th of February. 2025 while wintering in Saint Augustin Fl.

It was a surprising meal as it did not look that great from the outside.

During our winer get-away 2025 Louisa and I drive down the Saint Augustine, Florida for a 5 week stay. On our first night there, we stopped by this restaurant.

A great pizza, I hope we get to go back before we leave here.

What I ordered:

Blackfly Supreme ~ Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Roasted Red Peppers, Mushrooms, & Onions, Green Olives, Mozzarella, & Asiago Cheeses,
Basil-Marinara Base, Oregano $26

Hello from Savannah ......

Among the last things we wanted to do while wintering out of NY this year was to head to Savannah, GA for a second day.  We picked Wednesday March 20th 2024 as it was to have the perfect weather - Sunny and around 75 degrees. (and it was a perfect day too)

I ordered the Salmon Tikka Masala. It came with rice nicely cooked and hot. It was also a generous portion. I ate my lunch and was able to take home virtually half a meal which I had tonight for dinner. LOUISA ordered her vegetarian dish, but it did not come out as spicy as she had hoped. She was able to doctor her take-home meal to her satisfaction. We just had a couple glasses of water since it was warm out and the total bill came to $35.31 plus tip..

The restaurant was clean and staff was knowledgeable and fast with serving.

If you like Indian cuisine, I would definitely put this on your list. Another benefit is that it is only a few blocks from the riverfront..

After we went on a 25 mile bike ride on Hilton Head Island, where we have been wintering. We stoped in to the Backyard Restaurant for lunch.

Regrettably I ordered the Low country burger.  1/2 pound burger, pimento cheese, lettuce, ranch dressing, fried green tomato (on top), sweet pickle, my one side was mashed potatoes.

LOUISA ordered her lunch from the vegetarian restaurant across the way. We arranged to meet at the backyard restaurant under their large awning to eat our meal. So I thought I'd surprise her by buying a side order of fried green tomatoes.

Where do I begin? First off the mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes. No seasoning no pad of butter. No gravy of any kind. It was just a dish of dried out mashed potatoes. The burger was OK by itself. The bun was OK also but they slathered it with ranch dressing and pimento cheese which apparently I don't care for too much. I would definitely not buy that burger as ordered again. I did eat the meat and most of the bun in the sweet pickle, but scraped a bunch of the dressing off.

I don't think LOUISA cared too much for the side of fried green tomatoes. She's been eating really well lately and stack of heavily greasy deep fried green tomatoes was probably a bad choice on my part.

The waitress was slow and when I asked for extra napkins, she never did bring them. Poor service I guess I don't care for that particular dish either. I give the whole experience possibly D+ or C- same thing.

I only had water to drink. The burger along with a side order or appetizer of fried green tomatoes came to $29 and some change plus tip.

50 Shelter Cove Lane

Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

On March 5th 2024 Louisa and I walked to this restaurant about 25 minutes away from out condo on Hilton Head Island. We were hopeful for a good meal as we have had so many poor dining experience here on Hilton Head.

My order was a Giuseppi's cheese pizza with lite cheese and pepperoni and cooked with a little burn around the edge. The crust is always a medium with this pizza. When it came to the table I could see right off they put way too much pepperoni on. I was happy both pizzas came to the table piping hot.  I have to say, mine was good but not great. I actually like Edy's better at the same price.

Lou ordered a loaded veggie pizza.  She seem to really like hers. I had a coke she had water. A good thing is that we can only eat half a 12 inch pizza so we had lunch the next day.

Bill came to $47.00 so it's not a cheap pizza.

Would I eat there again? No- there are to many places to try for lunch or dinner that unless a meal is great we wouldn't go back.

Savannah, GA 31401

While Louisa and I were wintering on Hilton Head Island (mid January through end of March 2024) we took a day trip to Savannah Georgia. After our lunch in Savannah, I wanted to get a strolling cup of coffee. We ended up going to the "Black Rifle Coffee Company". I initially asked for medium roast, but she said that it was double caffeine and If I wanted lower caffeine to go with their dark roast. I must admit, the dark roast was pretty darn good. I should've bought a bag to go, but I did not. Would I go back again? Definitely yes. They do have a macho watcho vive going on with military, flags and veteran shirts, hats, and stuff, but puting that aside, the coffee is Worth it. I give that 12 ounce cup of coffee at 10. And they don't even charge a lot for it either. I think it was somewhere around $2.50. Not a bad price considering they are right on the waterfront in Savannah.

While wintering on Hilton head, Island, South Carolina January through March 2024 LOUISA and I took one afternoon and drove into Savannah Georgia.

I did a lengthy write up on this restaurant already, but for some reason it got deleted or lost and I'm not going to give it the credit of doing it all over again. This place sucked for the price they were asking definitely not worth it. Two crappy meals came to $40 plus a tip.

My first time in the Villages. February 23rd 2024. Unfortunately, for me, I only had two or three hours to kill that day to before driving back home to meet Louisa in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where we were wintering. The weather in the villages this particular day was cool and intermittent sprinkles. Not the best day to be.

As you can see from the above listing and photographs, I ordered the drops of Jupiter breakfast. The first brought out the muffin with a company jelly then the two pancakes were actually pretty good. The sausages were OK along with the potatoes just being OK. It's almost the same sort of meal you could've ordered from Denny's or Perkins or one of those type. I didn't even order a coffee and the bill came to $16.00 plus tip. Would I go there again, probably, but don't expect to be wowed. It's just a Denny's/Perkins type of set up. It's more about being in and walking around the villages afterword.

Louisa and I stopped by this new restaurant today, February 12th 2024. Lou was very happy to fine the one and only vegetarian restaurant on the island.

LOUISA had a veggie wrap not listed on the menu.

I had the Super Salad Sampler. Very good.

Note: total vegetarian restaurant, no meat sold here so don't even think about buying a salad with chicken in it. It ain't going to happen.

News Flash:

We went here for a second time because we loved our meals the last time in 2023.

We both bought the same meals as last time. Well....... This time it was not so great. We were both disappointed in the quality and taste.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Our first trip:

We went here for the first time April 24th 2023. I ordered the Grilled chicken panini with a small coffee. Louisa had the vegetarian panini. My lunch was good "4+" and our two meals with 1 coffee came to $34.00. I would buy the same sandwich again. I look forward to going back to buy a strolling cup and will probably buy a bag of ground coffee for home.

(It was also Joshua's first day of starting his new job in Knoxville, TN. Lou is also newly retired)

Mi Tierra Restaurant

Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

February 6th 2024

We were walking past this restaurant at lunch time and decided to stop in having never been there.

We were both unhappy with our lunch. I ordered and chicken Burrito. It came to the table warm/ hot but not "Good and hot".  The shell was not fully cooked and it was a little gummy.
There was plenty of bean and chicken though. I did eat the entire mean in one setting with non going home. For a drink I ordered a Corona beer.

The restaurant was almost empty so there was no reason for our food not to be hot. The only good thing really was that the bill was ok. @ meals with one beer came to $30.00 + tip.

Sooo finally would I want to try them again for a different? Not really. There has got to be some good restaurants on the Iland, we just haven't hit them on this trip.

Only a C at best.

The Mellow Mushroom

33 Office Park Rd #4,
Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

We spend the winter on Hilton Head, SC this year. While here, we would see adds for a restaurant called The Mellow Mushrooms. The adds can give the impressions that their pizzas were made with magic mushrooms. You know the psychedelic type. Then, one day our neighbor Tracy said she has tried all the pizzerias on the Island and the MM was her favorite. Soooo today, February 2nd 2024 we decided to give them a try.

Yelp was only giving it a 3.4/5. Not too good!

Lou did like her salad well enough but my pizza was underwhelming for sure. I ordered a sm. pie with lite cheese pepperoni and mushrooms. The crust was ok- The sauce was to acidic- Too much pepperoni- and, and the waiter let the pie set on the counter to long before bringing it to the table so it was only warm when I got it. Our two meals with one coke came to $26.50 + tip. Frankly, I like Edie's Pizza better.

The point, would I go back for a pizza or any other dish, NO.

While on Hilton Head for the winter of 2024 we stopped into the Crazy Carb over in Harbor Town. I had their Gumbo last year in 2023 and I fell in love with it. So much so that when I went back home I couldn't wait to make it for my family. So when Lou and I came back here I really wanted to try it again. I wasn't disappointed either, it was just as I remember. I had the bowl of gumbo ($9.00)  and a side garden salad ($6.00) Our total bill for 2 people was $31.00 + tip. There's not much for the vegetarian at this restaurant, but at least Louisa was willing to suffer through another salad for me.

Louisa and I went out for dinner this evening. While on HHI SC we stopped into the "It's Greek to me" restaurant. We were here last year, for the first time. Well, this time I had the Mediterranean styled cod with Green Beans, frys and a side salad. Good but the fish was bland. With only water, both meals were $49.00 + tip. With a tip of $10.00- you can buy a lot of food for $60.00. We don't go out a lot but when we do it's $$$.

Although it's always nice to go out with her and try something new.

We went there for Joshua's 26 birther.
Jan. 13th, 2024

I had the

"Smothered chicken"

Boneless & skinless honey-dusted “forever free” fried chicken thighs*, milk gravy, basil, your choice of two farm-fresh sides.  I picked a side salad and broccoli. The entrée was so large that I was only able to eat 3/4 of the chicken and most of the broccoli. Some of the chicken and the whole side salad came home with us.

For an appetizer, we ordered one fried green tomatoes. I don't think any of us really cared for them.

The three of us topped our meals off with sharing one heavenly banana pudding. It was OK, but not spectacular. Also, it tasted like it had a hint of butterscotch in it, which was OK as well. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

With drinks- Total bill was $140.00 with tip.

Melissa family invited us up the "Sinterklaas Festival" day in Rhinebeck New York this year. The town puts on quite a festival for only a one day event, but it was surely something not to be missed. It was held on December 2, 2023 this year.

Our lunch stop that day was the Posto Pizzeria right in the center of town. I've got to say that was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long, long time. If we get to Rhinebeck again, it is a must stop.

I Believe my order was a margarita, pizza with light cheese and pepperoni.

Just Pizza
2249 South Park Ave. South Buffalo

Today is November 15th 2023. I was driving into South Buffalo today to find/ visit some the Passed family members at the Lackawanna Holy Cross Cemetery. Before going on that crazy hunt, I drove just passed Aldrich Place and just before PS 29 there is a "Just Pizza". Don't get me wrong, it's not great pizza at all but I was Hungy and for the $7.50 I paid it wasn't bad. I bought 2 slices of cheese and pepperoni out of the rotisserie and a small Pepsi. Of course the cheese was too heavy but that's what you get. Same at Blasdell Pizza too. When I go back again,  I'll need to order a small pizza with lite cheese.

Louisa and I came to Smugglers Notch in Oct 2023

We drove down to Warren, VT just to get out of the house. Stopping in Warren for lunch at the "Warren Store". I ordered the Pulled Pork panini. They sell it in a small $9.00 and Large $14.00. I bought the $9.00 with a 12 oz Meddem roast "802" coffee. The pulled pork was delicious. Slightly sweet and very tasty pork and purple cabbage. I would definitely buy it again. The coffee was also wonderful so I bought one bag of whole beans for me and one for Joshua.

From the seventh until 12 October 2023 LOUISA and I came up to Smugglers Notch for an extended weekend getaway. While here we did some touring around and stopped over to a place we've been once before and that is the King Arthur flagship store. Just so happens this weekend was a big weekend for Leefers so many sites were packed with people. Anyway, we were hungry for lunch, and I purchased the Ham and Swiss sandwich. The crusty sourdough bread was really good and the lettuce and Swiss cheese were, well lettuce and Swiss cheese, but the ham, unfortunately, was very salty. It really dragged the meal down. But for $12.00 it was a very filling meal.

Yes, we always ask ourselves, would I buy it again, and the answer to this one is probably not. The saltiness of the ham was too distracting. If you check out the menu options for their lunch, you will see there's not a great variety that they offer.

In the heart of the village of Akron, there is a beautiful little café call the Terra House. Louisa and I met Laurie Baldwin up there for lunch on Aug. 16th 2023. Unfortunately, Donnie was working that day, but Laurie did show us around the octagon house, which was quite interesting.

At the Terra House, I ordered a cup of coffee ($2.50) and the Hot Ham and Swiss ($14.00)

The coffee was delicious. I actually went back for a second and then a 3rd cup. The sandwich I would give a 4 out of 5 stars. I could only eat half of the sandwich as it was a little bit too much bread. It was pleasant conversation and a wonderful weather day for sitting outside. It's hard to fault. The sandwich went for $14. You can still take half of it home for the next day.

IMG_8858.JPG

3+ only because the Moscow Mule was good.

I was in Warren PA with Tommy and Mary on the 13th of August 2023. As we looked for a new and interesting place to have lunch we saw The Wicked Warren; one of the few places still open on this Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a unique look inside and out. Reminiscent of a tattoo parlor/ bar.

MY PIZZA:

Although, I will take ownership that I did not asked them to reduce the amount of cheese they put on their pizzas, it was still pretty poor quality all in all. I ordered the 10 inch personal pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. ($11.50 + $1.00 each extra toppings = $13.50) The dough was just standard at best. (Standard tops quality dough) They pretty much ruined the pizza by adding too much cheese and not cooking the pizza dough to crisp it up. Also, it lacked the traditional bubbles which I so enjoy.

MY DRINK:

What saved the lunch for me was the Moscow Mule, ($9.50) it was pretty good along with some fun conversation/banter with Tommy and Mary.

PS, both Tommy and Mary really enjoyed their meals.

Arctic Bites Fredonia

44 W Main St, Fredonia, NY 14063

Tried this Japanese ramen soup restaurant for the first time in late June 2023. This was when Mary came into town. We walked to the restaurant from Tommy's house, Carol, Tommy, Mary, and myself. A relatively small restaurant the ambience was a little dark with its dark paneling and lack of windows. Anyway, I ordered a beef Raman soup with a coffee flavored ice tea. I thought it was going to be a bubble tea, but all their bubbles were peach and strawberry flavored, which would not go well with coffee so I guess it was just a coffee iced tea which was a little on the sweet side.

The ramen soup was a decent size as you can see in the photo. Although I did not order any extra noodles, it came with adequate portions of noodles, broth, and beef. Only one egg, and as you can see, it was basically hard boiled not the typical over easy egg you get with Robin.

Much to my chagrin, the ramen soup had a tinge of fish, taste and smell to it. I was not expecting that nuanced smell and taste, considering it is a beef broth with beef. The smell and taste put me off. The noodles and beef were well cooked broth and soup were hot enough. The soup and drink came to $15.50.

It could be partially that I went into the restaurant with not the greatest of hunger's, probably only a four or five on the hunger scale. It was mostly that it was lunchtime, and we were looking for something new to do.

Final thoughts, I would probably not go back again, unless I was desperate to scratch that itch for a bowl of Ramen. Would definitely not take Louisa. There is the food quality was only a C or C plus and the ambience is nothing to brag about. All in all, I would not go back again, unless desperate for ramen.

The Otter Bakery, and Deli
Middlebury, Vermont

Tommy and I came up to Vermont on May 28 through the 3rd of June 2023. Louisa was off visiting her family in Italy and Joshua had recently moved to Knoxville Tennessee. While showing Tommy some of the sites in Vermont, we came down from Smugglers Notch to Middleberry Vermont for the afternoon. Beautiful, gorgeous sunny day, 80°. We stopped at the Otter Creek Bakery, and Deli. Although I probably chose poorly for my lunch option which was a spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, it looks like they have a lot of other good choices on the menu. The buffalo chicken was a little bit spicy for me. But, on a good note, their coffee was exceptionally good. Not only did I top off my coffee before leaving the restaurant,  I also bought two bags to take home with me. See Bun's Beans website here.

And, at the time of this visit, they were only charging $12 per pound (16 oz.). So two bags were only $24 and they didn't even charge me tax.

I had the Columbian medium roast.

On April 17, 2023 Louisa and I met Joshua down in Knoxville Tennessee where Joshua just received the keys to his new apartment. He looked up and suggested we try out this restaurant called sunspot. All three of us had drinks along with our main meal which mine was salmon with mashed potatoes and beans. Was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again. If we do go down to Knoxville Tennessee again, let Joshua do the driving. It was not a good experience driving in that town as there is a lot of fast lane changes too stressful for this old man.

Regular sub with sm. Pepsi $11.83

Today I went to my first ever Jersey Mike's sub shop. (13th April 2023) The location was right next to Michael's craft shop across the street from the McKinley mall. Attempting to keep apples to apples comparison, I ordered their ham and provolone sub on white bread. They only microwave the subs and don't toast them like subway does. Anyway, always looking to find the Publix Super market equivalent sandwich.  I did not have them heated. The bread did not have a crust. A generous amount of ham, good enough, I guess. They don't ask what variety of vegetables you want they just started making it with lettuce tomatoes and they were going to put oil on it. I told him not to just to put mayonnaise. I also noticed they do not carry a lot on veggie. It tasted OK and yes I would go back but I'm not rushing.

February 2023

If you like Mexican food, you'll love this place. They don't take reservations so don't bother. But, we went there on a Monday night during the kids school break. We were there Monday evening February 20, 2023. Took us about 25 minutes to get a seat for six people. The waiter was courteous and prompt. The food came out very quickly and was a very high quality. We really enjoyed our meal. Probably chose poorly asking for chopped pork in my burrito. And it was a little dry. I would've done much better with beef. But the sandwich itself was so large after eating our delicious appetizer, I only ate approximately 1/3 of my meal. I had a large burrito with Coke. Louisa had a similar styled meal with water and we bought two appetizers for the table. With a nine dollar tip it came to $54. The two appetizers were $10 each so you could actually subtract $20 from that bill along with its portion of tip. Plus, we would've still brought food home with us even without the appetizer.

I highly recommend this restaurant, and would definitely go back again. One thing to consider is that it is about a 30 minute drive from the Orange Lake Condo. It's near mile marker 9.

Although Cost is $$$

February 2023

We have been here several times in the past. The service, quality of food was as good as we remember. Though it can be a bit pricey as you will see some of the items on the menu can be $50 a plate, such as the steak. This trip I had salmon with asparagus at $26. Salmon was delicious and it was a pretty generous size as well.

Orange Lake Resort Condo

This is such a fun place to have dinner after a long day of vacationing. I certainly enjoy setting outside in February eating dinner under an umbrella. With the music playing in the background and the laughing as the warmth and humidity wash over you. Oh, don't get me wrong, the food is not "to die for" good and it's kind of pricey for what you get as well, but, it's all about being there with family or friends. After a lone day in the sun, the swimming or setting by the hot tubs with your Starbucks coffee, for me, there is no better way to top off the day than a dinner at Trad Winds.

You can plan on paying $60.00 for 2 people. Dinner and 1 drink each with tip.

The pizza, the price and the noise.

691 Front Street

Celebration, FL. 34747

An Italian restaurant in the hart of Celebration Town. It was a Saturday night the place was mobbed. The waiters was not great but our pizzas did come out fast. The dough was good but a but under cooked and the topping would come off when you picked it up, and not in a good way. We both had pizzas at $21.00 each. We were pretty hungry when we got there so anything would have tasted good at that point. With tip $49.00 for two small pizzas. We did, however, brings some home. I noticed many of the other people, their meal portions sizes were smallish. It's possible, it could have been a better experience off hours.

All in all it was an OK meal but you can do just as well at other places for less. Better yet, eat at home.

We all loved our meals so it was a good pick by Josh. I had the Chicken teriyaki $17.00 + hot tea. Very good. Only a 1/2 cup of rice to come home with me.

I ordered my meal medium well which was perfect.

We've been to the poppyseed, many, many times before and have almost always had a good meal. Yesterday I had a sandwich called macho man. Pretty good actually although it was $16, kind of pricey, and I ate the entire thing long with the fries, nothing to take home. But I was really stuffed when I left along with brewed to order coffee basically basically a Kahrig coffee but it was good. Louisa had a large salad and a coffee as well bill came to $40, $47 with tip.

In December 2022, I purchased a small pizza with light amount of cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms. With a small Coke. Tour was $20.85. Three slices was plenty for a lunch. Then I had the other three slices reheated in the oven for dinner. Was plenty for dinner as well. I was first surprised at the $20 pizza but I definitely got two meals out of it. Crust was good. I like that pizza very much

Open from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM 7 days a week.

We eat breakfast here several times while we stayed next-door at the Candlewood inn. Food was always good and hot, price was good for the amount for food given. If I recall, the coffee was good as well. We would definitely go back again when passing through.

First visit February 2022

In 2022 it was $29.00 including tip for 2 breakfasts with coffee.
Large variety of food on the menu

I had the western omlelette $9.89 and Lou had the Either the Greek or Spanish omelette @ $9.59

Coffee at the time was $2.79 a cup. But worth it.

The Village Pizza and Pints

My first visit was in  November 2022. I bought two slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza with a small Pepsi for $7.07. I couldn't tell the difference between this and Wegmans pizza. I don't think it's worth the trip. I was there slightly after lunchtime. I was the only one in the place. They played black dance music a little on the loud side the whole time I was there. Not my cup of tea.

The Beaver Club

il_1588xN.3266348763_zspv_edited.png

The Beaver Club is a well known pub/ restaurant in Fredonia, NY.  In November 2022 I went to visit my mother in Fredonia. My brother told me about the club and it was a good place to get a sub. For $11.00, I got foot long sub with ham, turkey with provolone cheese. The darn thing weighed about 1 1/2 pounds. They don't toast their subs but that was ok, it was great anyway. We took our meals and went to a local park at eight them there. Glad we did as the beaver club ambience is a basic bar scene, not the kind of place one would enjoy having lunch in.

This is one of our usual places to have a delicious lunch when we are in Burlington, VT. Their coffee is great too. I'll have to remember to take note of which coffee I drank.

Their website is loaded with all kinds of stuff from specials to cooking recipes and all about herbs and spices.

A must stop when we are in Vermont. The Charlmont Restaurant offers great food. Staff is courteous, they bring your meal out hot, and reasonably priced as well. Our last visit was no different. The salad bar was well worth the trip. (Oct 2022)

Went into Canada today September 3, 2022. Of course we went to the import stores, but then took a break and went to our favorite Pho restaurant. I had the #226 Pho Ga Nuong: Rice noodle soup with grilled chicken along with a Coffee flavored bubble tea. Louisa had a mango bubble tea along with a slightly smaller Pho vegetarian tofu dish. We both loved our soups and brought at least half home with us in containers. The bill came to $47 with a tip but after the exchange the bill only ended up being $36.00 American.

On May 26th, 2022 Louisa and I went to this Breaking Egg restaurant in Williamsville. Good prices delicious coffee, I would go there again just to have the coffee. I probably would have said more about the quality of food and such but it was right after my colonoscopy and I wasn't in the mood.

One of my favorite hot pot restaurants. Clean, good service, and two people can have a loaded hot pot for about $35 plus tax What more can I say- It's a nice stop for soup once every 6 months.

One of my first stops when in Stowe Vermont. Always a great cuppa coffee and atmosphere. The restaurant in Stowe Vermont has been newly remodeled and looks great.

In Stowe Vt. A casual global menu of breakfast fare, sandwiches & smoothies in a homey, cottage-chic setting.

One of our favorite places, or at least mine, to eat pizza win in Stowe Vermont. Always happy with the quality of food though it can be pretty pricey. Not outrageously but two people can spend $40 on two pizzas and a pop. Be careful when ordering alcoholic drinks as one time Louisa and I ordered a shot of whiskey and they charged us $15 per shot, we almost fell over. And it's not because of the alcohol.

Home of the Bee Sting Pizza. Family style and the drinks are made strong.

Bee stin pizza: pomodoro, cupperoni, denny's peppers, motz, hot honey. (to die for)

RJ said it is his favorite restaurant.

Whenever I can get there, I love having their apply pie and a cup of coffee. They have a restaurant right across the parking lot. Here is the link to that restaurant. We have lunch there almost every visit to Vermont. Remember to go on off hours if you can as the line can be long around lunch time.

The Naked Farmer

Louisa and I  had a very nutritious meal here. Both meals with a tip only came to $26.00. I'll have to revisit my information on the naked farmer to give more info.

Kahwa Coffee Roasters

St. Petersburg Florida location

February 13, 2022 Louisa and I were on vacation in Saint Petersburg Florida. She bought a cappuccino iced coffee which she absolutely loved and I had a medium roast (Sirocco) which was very good also. It was so good in fact I bought two bags of beans. One for us and one for our friends who gave us some great vacation tips.

Gulfport, Fl.

Nice little coffee shop in Gulfport, Fl.

We stopped in on February 14th 2022

The coffee was great but unfortunately that's the only thing we had. They had some nice looking desserts and sandwiches but at a time, we were in for just a cup of coffee.

The Leaky Cauldron

February 16th 2022: I bought the Fish and Chips with an apple juice. $21.00 Was not very good. Quality is basically cafeteria food.

The Copenhagen Cafe
Tarpon Springs, Florida

Your "man hating" Lesbian cafe.

I stopped in for a cup of coffee in Fab 2022 and I never felt more unwelcome in a store. And the coffee was only marginally good to boot.

The Gate House

Rochester, NY

The Gate House in Rochester was quite a happening shindig the day we went there for my daughters birthday. Great food with quite an extensive menu. As for drinks, I bought a Key-lime Vodka drink which for $9.00 was great. I would deffenetly buy again.

Lou and I went to the Elm Street Bakery April 2nd 2022. I had a small pizza which was hot and delicious. The coffee was pretty good too. A really nice lunch.  You need to pay attention to the day of week and time of day you go there is a can be quite often packed. Probably a good time to go is during the summer when you can enjoy some of the outside seating.

Springville, NY

Hours: Wednesday through Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM

We went there for the first time April 30, 2022. I ordered a blueberry scone and a 16 ounce medium roast coffee. Both were delicious. I understand their soups and Panini's are out of this world. I look forward to going back in a month or so for lunch. It's a remodeled older building that has a small town and Vermont Café vibe. Reminds me a little of the black cap in Stove Vermont.
