They lived in Westboro and Northboro Mass. Then Winchester, Connecticut. They had 8 Children. 6 born iorthboro. So all 8 were born in Mass.

Resided in Ottor Creek Vermont, then relocated to Salmon River east of Lake Ontario, New York. 2 Children.

John, who was killed by Indians in the war of 1812 and James, who kept a hotel in Canandaigua New York

John Fay Jr. b. April 19th 1784 d. May 29th 1813

He was killed by an Indian and scalped on the first day of the second battle at Sackett Harbor, New York war 1812.

​Married Aug. 26th 1805 Lucy Lillie b. June 8th 1782 d. March 1780.

Lucy shows up in at least two census (1850 and 1860) reports as living in Pennsylvania with her son Joel M Fay.

​Elizabeth “Betsy” Fay is the grandmother to poet Emily Dickerson. The relationship to her is that Gersham 1 and John Fay 2 were brothers.

In the 1700s, Our grandfather Gerald Fay resided in Dublin Ireland. Next to his name, the word, GENT for occupation or gentleman. which at the time meant a person of wealth status and proper. I like to think it's easy to conclude that our ancient ancestors from Ireland or wealthy, land owners, and citizens of status and privilege.

Joel Jr. moved from Ellisburg, NY to Concord, PA about May 1831 (Oxbow Hill area. If you view Union City, Corry and Spartansburg, as an upside down triangle, Oxbow Hill is in the center of the triangle

Claude moved from Bradford, PA to Buffalo, NY 1920

John Sr. Supposedly lived in Otter Creek Vermont, which is right next-door to Middleberry, but I have not found records myself  only the mention of it in the Fay genealogy book

Lucy Lilley/ Fay's father John Lilley Moved from CT to Bennington, VT to Otter Creek, VT to Ellisburg, NY and finally to Concord, Pennsylvania with John and then Joel M. Fay family in tow.

My mother met Minnie May Babcock  back in the 1930s and 40s
