Another important note in the 1860 census. It shows Joel as being Joel as being 54 years old where Rebecca is 31 so she is still within child bearing years when Joel is in his 60’s

A good find. Shows Joel M Fay Senior at 64 years old. And my great grandfather Joel M Fay Junior at three years old. Census says that Joel Senior was born in. New York and Junior was born in Pennsylvania can never tell how accurate these things are until I see birth certificates

John Fay Sr. married Lucy Lilley. Lucy and her parents were together with John up near Sackets Harbor, New York when John was killed by an Indian during the war of 1812. Lucy's father John and wife Roxy took the Fay family including a son Joel M Fay to Concord, Pennsylvania.

Lucy Smith. (married Elijah Smith) This is Lucy Lilley/ Fay wife of John Fay killed 1813. She remarried
Over time I will have to look into Lucy Fay potential marriage to Elijah Smith. I found it in family documents but not officially online under ancestry.com yet. Unconfirmed family story says after John's death Elijah Smith took the Fay family to Concord, Pennsylvania. If Elijah Smith and Lucy Fay did married apparently it didn't last very long as there's no records that I have found yet

When Lucy Lillie was born on 8 June 1782, in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut, United States, her father, John Lillie, was 26 and her mother, Roxanna Bates, was 24. She married John Fay Jr. in 1806, in Jefferson, New York, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She died in March 1870, in Concord, Concord Township, Erie, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 87

The actual senses is so faded. It's not worth posting as it's very, very difficult to read, but the names on the bottom of the list to the right are accurate.
Note: my great, great grandfather Joel M Fay Junior was not born until 1866.
​Also, the Lucy Smith listed is Joel's mother Lucy. She remarried somebody named Smith. I have it written someplace.
