Ken M. Fay  (Kate’s brother)

Daughter was Lila Fay- Married (Craven)

Daughter is Danni Rae

Cousin Kate says Donni Rae is definitely Fay. She is my niece, Lila's daughter- I’ll need to look this name up.

Donni Rae is daughter of Lila (Fay) and Donald Esh

Lila is the oldest daughter of Ken Fay

Claude and my  Dad (Ken L. Fay) were first cousins, which made your mother and my Dad first cousins once removed, and you and my Dad were first cousins twice removed and Claude and me were first cousins once removed but your mother and me were second cousins and you and me are second cousins once removed.  Now that we are both confused,

Donni Rae. She is the daughter of Lila Yvonne (Fay) Craven who is the daughter of my brother, Kenneth William Fay, Sr. (My Dad was Kenneth LaVerne Fay).  She is married with no children of her own BUT she has fostered many children who are adults now with children of their own.  She is Mom or Grandma to all of them.  Well this should give you something to sink your teeth into for a while.  On another note, my last first cousin, Bruce Pieper (Aunt Bessie's son) lives in Alabama and he has lost his wife this past week.  He and I are the last ones of our generation.  If We lose hm, I'm it for this generation in this branch.

Day 2

After a day of marry making with the Fay clan in Corry Pennsylvania, Tommy, cousin Donny and myself drove to Bradford Pennsylvania, about one hour 20 minutes away heading east. We spent the night at a Holiday Inn express. Great price pretty comfortable and they serve breakfast. Free coffee all day long. I would use them again. One king bed small refrigerator free breakfast 24 hour coffee for $103 total. After cleaning up and having breakfast, we went out in search of multiple addresses, where Claude and the Wade family lived. Unfortunately every address we got was basically a empty parking lot. While driving the streets of Bradford, we stopped into a pastry shop, provide name here, fairly substantial storm blew through see photographs below. Fortunately, it didn't last long, but it was the type of storm you would see in the tropical south massive amount of water comes down over the period of one or two hours then that's it. One structure that was still standing was at the intersection of mechanic and Main Street. It is the building that would've sold tickets for Claude's trolley and awaiting area to catch it. As you will see from photos below, Claude worked there at least during a period of 1917. The building was remodeled in the 1930s I am told by the Bradford historical Society. Claude would've been quite familiar with this place as he lived just a few blocks away.

Before and after a 1930s remodel. WNY and Penn. Traction company. My grandfather Claude W. Fay worked there as a trolley conductor for at least the year of 1917 as per his 1917 World War I registration card.

We stopped into a bakery to grab a pastry and a coffee, and while ordering this substantial rainstorm crept up on us. We ended up having to wait about a half an hour for it to subside enough for us to run to the car.

Cousin Kate

We found the grave of my great grandfather's wife, Minnie May Babcock/ Fay/ Reese. There are pictures of Shirley with Minnie as she did not pass until 1946 making mom around.17.

This is the way things go. When I was looking at this grave and taking a picture, I did not realize who this person was. Jessie G. Fay is one of William Fay and Maude's children. Well, if Williams is a brother to my grandfather, then this woman would have been, what a Great Aunt?
